SVC is affiliated with the University of Delhi and is located beside the South Campus. All the colleges under the umbrella of DU have nominal fees as compared to other private universities. Although the fees of Sri Venkateswara College are designed in an economical way, there are various concessions offered to students who belong to financially weaker sections. Students can avail themselves for various government scholarships as well. Below are the two main concessions offered as part of the Sri Venkateswara College Scholarship:

The merit cum means scholarship for professional and technical courses

This is a government-funded scholarship. It has been put in place for students who perform exceptionally well in their studies but face financial hardships. The Sri Venkateswara College eligibility criteria for this scholarship is that the student must have attained a minimum of 50% in their last examination. Moreover, the family income of the students must not cross Rs 2.5 lakh per annum. As part of this, students can get a concession of Rs 20,000 on their fee for one year and the hostellers can gain a benefit of Rs 1,000.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities

This scholarship is designed for economically weak students. If the family income of the students is not more than Rs 2 lakh and they have scores of at least 50% in their previous examination, they can apply for this scholarship. Rs 3,000 per annum along with maintenance of Rs 570 is provided for one academic year. Students can also renew this amount if they attain more than 50% in their end examinations as well. 

The above scholarships are excluded from the Sri Venkateswara College DU fee structure.

Sri Venkateswara College courses are offered at the UG and PG levels. Some of the popular specialisations it offers are Economics, Sociology, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc. The B.Com course is the most popular UG course. Moreover, language courses in Spanish, French and German are also very popular among students. Sri Venkateswara College Courses

Sri Venkateswara College follows the guidelines of the University of Delhi for admissions to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The Sri Venkateswara College admission criteria for the UG and PG courses is the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Based on the results, Sri Venkateswara College will prepare its individual merit list along with the counselling schedule. Students need to register themselves on the Common Seat Allocation System portal or the CSAS portal as the next step of the Sri Venkateswara College admission 2023. • The Common Seat Allocation System or the CSAS DU consists of 3 phases.  
• The first phase comprises applying to the University of Delhi (DU).
• The second phase involves the selection of the preferred colleges and courses by students.
• The third phase is the allotment of seats and admission confirmation.
• Candidates must note that the admissions will be based on the “Subject-based Normalised Scores” as declared by the NTA on their CUET Result 2023 scorecards. 
• The programme-specific merit scores of students will be auto-calculated by the university based on the eligibility criteria and reflected on the CSAS dashboard.
• As per theDU and CUET Samarth guidelines, students should select as many choices of courses and colleges as possible during the second phase of CSAS. This is advised to avoid problems during seat allotment. 
• Currently, the third phase of the CSAS portal is ongoing where seats are being allotted to students in multiple rounds. 
• An important step during the Sri Venkateswara College admissionis the acceptance of seats by students. They must accept their seats within the mentioned dates. In case they fail to do so, it will be considered a “Decline” from their end and the seat will be given to the next eligible candidate.
